Tim Kelley has 15+ years’ experience in the insurance industry with extensive experience in insurance regulatory compliance issues. Tim has worked as a Vice President & Director of Compliance and Legal for an Insurance Holding Company comprised of, a Property & Casualty Company, Life Insurance Company, domestic and offshore Reinsurance companies, an Agency, service contract provider, and insurance administrative companies. Tim has served as the corporate liaison with several regulatory authorities during his career on a variety of insurance compliance, regulatory and market conduct issues. Tim also worked for one of the Big 4 international consulting firms as a consultant in their Governance, Risk and Regulatory services insurance practice. Tim has a broad range of insurance knowledge and has had interaction with, and oversight of, several insurance company business units and personnel.
As Senior Manager at ER, Tim is currently acting as the Examination Manager for Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund exposure examinations. Tim has acted as Examiner-in-Charge for several Property & Casualty, Life & Health and Florida State Board of Administration Market Conduct engagements. He has also worked on troubled company engagements, Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA) reviews and a variety of insurance regulatory special projects.
Tim earned his B.S. in Math from Creighton University and a Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law. He is a member of the Insurance Regulatory Examiners Society (IRES). Tim works and resides in Overland Park, KS.
